MEET THE DOCTOR
Dr. Arora has been practicing optometry since 1998.
Rajan Arora, O.D., is a Houston native; he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Houston in 1994. He successfully completed his Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston in 1998. He relocated to Dallas after his Doctor of Optometry degree and worked with Dr. Everett Moody (Pediatric Ophthalmologist) specializing in pediatric eyecare in his initial days as an optometrist. In 2002 he ventured into his solo practice and since then continues to work as an independent doctor.
Dr. Arora is licensed as a therapeutic optometrist. He diagnoses and treats many ocular conditions and emergencies. He is also a certified optometric glaucoma specialist, diagnosing and treating people from early to advanced disease. His areas of expertise are pediatric eyecare, multifocal/bifocal contact lens fittings, ocular diseases, and sports vision.
Dr. Arora is a proud Dallas County Optometrist Society member, the Northeast Texas Optometric Society, the Texas Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association. He has received multiple honors for his work.
Dr. Arora enjoys spending his spare time with his wonderful wife and two energetic sons. His hobbies include playing tennis, and other athletic sports.
