Kristin Nguyen, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in May 2023. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Texas A&M University in College Station in May 2018.
Dr. Nguyen is a dedicated optometrist with a special interest in Primary Care and Contact Lenses. She practices at Vision Arora and Optique, where she is known for her compassionate approach to patient care.
Her passion for optometry was sparked during her time volunteering at Mission Arlington, a non-profit organization serving underprivileged families. It was there that she witnessed the profound impact of vision care on people’s lives. A volunteer optometrist’s uplifting attitude and the gratitude of patients inspired Dr. Nguyen to pursue a career in optometry.
What Dr. Nguyen enjoys most about being an optometrist is building trust with her patients and learning about their unique backgrounds and cultures. She believes that life is hard enough, and ensuring that her patients have clear vision makes their everyday lives and jobs easier.
Outside of work, Dr. Nguyen values spending time with her family and friends, as well as exploring new places around the world. She enjoys trying new restaurants in the city and spending quality time with her cat, Jasper.
Joe Broadway, O.D., completed his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Business Administration Minor from Baylor University in 2017.
Dr. Broadway developed a special interest in the field of optometry from a young age due to his own experiences with eye-related issues. His struggles with conditions such as strabismus and amblyopia inspired him to pursue a career in optometry and give back to the profession.
As a licensed therapeutic optometrist and therapeutic glaucoma specialist, Dr. Broadway takes pride in providing personalized care to meet each patient’s unique needs. He is skilled in diagnosing and managing a wide range of ocular conditions, including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and post-operative care.
One of the aspects Dr. Broadway enjoys most about being an optometrist is the opportunity to interact with a diverse range of people on a daily basis. He finds joy in not only helping his patients but also learning from them. His passion for improving people’s vision and overall eye health is evident in his commitment to offering comprehensive and compassionate care.
Outside of work, Dr. Broadway enjoys playing pickleball, watching football, traveling, and spending quality time with his wife and two dogs. He is dedicated to welcoming patients and helping them maintain clear, healthy vision for life.
